AAC is a light weight and porous building material.
Cement, lime, slag, flyash, sand and foaming material as raw material, AAC is
made by procedure of grinding, batching, pouring, cutting,
curing and so on. It is called AAC for those small and even pores inside after
foaming. The advantages which make it one of the most popular wall materials are
as follows:
1, Light weight
AAC porosity ratio reaches 70%-80% of whole block. Its density
is 400-700kgs/m3, 1/3 of solid clay bricks, 1/5 of common concrete blocks.

2, Good heat preservation
With a large number of pores inside, AAC has good heat preservation.
Normally, AAC blocks with thickness of 200mm can preserve heat as well as those
common solid clay blocks with thickness of 490mm.

3, Good fire resistance without releasing harmful
gas
Main materials for AAC are inorganic. It has features of keeping
temperature, resisting fire and releasing no harmful gas. With good heat
preservation to the steels, buildings made of AAC blocks can only be destroyed
by surface when they are on fire.
4, Good workability
Without rough aggregate, AAC has good workability. It can be sawed,cut,
drilled freely and bound with other building materials which is favorable for
building.
5, Good sound insulation
AAC has good sound insulation for its distinctive large quantities of pores
inside.
6, Environmental protection and wide source of raw
materials
AAC can be made by slag, flyash, mine waste and other industrial wastes
together with lime, cement and gravel which are good for environmental
protection.
